Small sized oil painting on hardboard. The surface was treated with black lava to add an interesting "like cement" texture.

Pintura al óleo de pequeño formato sobre cartón prensado. Traté la superficie con una textura de lava negra que añade un efecto muy interesante a la pintura. Parece tratada con cemento.

LIGHTING A CIGARETTE

An oil on texturized wood ( with black lava) I found the pic in Internet and though he was an interesting subject to make a fast oil painting.

Una pintura rápida sobre tabla , previamente tratada con una imprimación de lava negra y una capa superior de textura más plástica, con el objeto de evitar el deterioro de los pinceles y para facilitar el movimiento de los mismos. usé una foto que encontré en internet. Creo que el sujeto es muy interesante para un formato vertical.

BERTOLT BRECHT

A portrait of Bertolt Brecht I painted a few years ago. Used burnt umber and white acrylic colour on stretched canvas.



Un acrílico sobre lienzo usando sombra tostada y blanco. Lo pinté hace algunos años y conservé los trazos de grafito para acentuar las formas.

AYAMONTE: Comentando el partido.

A group of men chatting , probably about the soccer match, as ussually. I used oil on wood adding transparent coats of colours.

Un grupo de paisanos, probablemente comentando el partido de fútbol en una céntrica calle de Ayamonte. Se trata de un óleo sobre tabla trabajado con finas capas transparentes.

An urban landscape of Ayamonte in a winter sunny day. I added some texture on the canvas and painted it with oil colors.

Otro paisaje urbano del centro de Ayamonte. pintado una soleada mañana de invierno. Añadí algo de textura al lienzo antes de trabajar el óleo.

Ayamonte. Waiting for the Virgin Mary

To make this oil on canvas I took a photograph in the Ayamonte´s harbour a day when the people were waiting the arriving of a boat from Portugal with the image of The Virgin Mary. The light of the sunset was indescriptible and beautiful.

Para pintar este cuadro me basé en unas fotos tomadas un atardecer en el puerto de Ayamonte. La gente esperaba la llegada en un barco desde Portugal de una imagen de la Virgen de Fátima. La aglomeración de público daba al puerto un aspecto poco habitual y las luces del atardecer eran maravillosas.
